Caroline Lizotte is internationally reknown to be among the most influent leading harp-composers. An Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Center, Caroline Lizotte founded les éditions Calyane in 1999 and RougébLeuë Productions in 2015 with her husband Étienne Ratthé.

As well as being very popular with the public and reaching all generations of harpists around the world, Caroline Lizotte’s music is played and recorded by numerous performers. Her harp compositions are a challenge to musical virtuosity. They have become standards in the instrument’s repertoire, and some pieces have been integrated in international competitions.

Caroline Lizotte is excited to perform for the 14th World Harp Congress in Cardiff.

Don’t miss her latest work’s performance, the daring Stellar Sonata opus 51 for electroacoustic harp, on July 25 at the Richard Burton Theatre!

During the whole week of the Congress, Caroline will be delighted to welcoming you at les éditions Calyane, exhibition stand B2 in Bute Theatre. You will also enjoy meeting and sharing with the composer, have your music signed and personalized on spot, and discover her recent album Lizotte Plays Lizotte, that includes some of her best-known titles, as well as two world premiere recordings.
