by LUC VANLAERE playing his compositions on
Pedal and Celtic Harps, Guzheng, Koto, gong and singing bowls,
his self built Pythagorean Sound Harp (257 strings) and Replica of The Lyre of Ur ( Mesopotamia 2600 BC )
With special guest Erwin Van Gorp on Bansuri

As former singer-song-writer Luc Vanlaere became a self taught professional harpist at mature age. In 2011 he founded his small theatre in the old City of Bruges-Belgium where he performs on a regular basis for an international audience allowing everyone to enjoy or discover harps in their many cultural appearances . More than 250.000 people have joined his performances and although his concerts are not promoted as "meditative", a spiritual vibration is never far. As a creative centipede he combines sounds from different cultures and builds instruments like his replica of the Lyre of Ur ( Mesopotamia 2600 BC ) and his Pythagorean Soundharp with 257 strings, which he will be using during the WHC concerts. He will be assisted by Erwin Van Gorp on Bansuri.

Concerts at WHC2022 take place in S4C studio located at the "Anthony Hopkins Centre" . Concert time approx. 45 minutes, DAILY from July 23 to 28 at 12 pm and 5 pm. The small room guarantees direct contact with the many sounds.
